September 11, we forgot

Sunday, September 13th, 2015

It was a day many Americans claim they would never forget.

But we did.

Every time we disrespect a  police officer, we forget the officers that ran into the Towers.

Every time we say going to war was not worth our military and our treasure, we forget that 3000 people died and America was in terror and that this was the price we were forced to pay so that more Americans in our homeland wouldn’t die.

Every time we say that we should stay out of the Middle East and it’s not our problem, we forgot that on September 11th, the Middle East and their terror came to US.

Every time we talk about a racist America, we forget that on 9/11, a White man addressed the nation to bring calm  and 14 years later, a Black man addresses the nation in remembrance of that day.

Every time we talk about division, we forget that Democrats and Republicans held each other on the steps of the capital and sang God Bless America.  That on that day, there was no White or Black, no Rich or Poor.

Every time we talk about the separation of Church and State, we forget that the entire State prayed and asked God to Bless and protect us.

Every time we talk about an evil America who owes the world an apology, we forget that the world stood with us in a moment of silent prayer and Britain played America’s anthem.

Every time we attempt to work with those that say ”death to America”, we forget that such a threat was real and in the after math, George W. Bush, the cowboy, told America and the terrorist that they would hear from us.

We forget how quickly we were able to take down terrorist and how quickly the world we knew was given back to us.  We forget the sigh of relief when America finally took terrorism seriously because the world had dealt with such murders for decades.

It was a day when the lion finally rose and attacked.

We promised ourselves that we would never again be caught sleeping.

We didn’t expect to be caged by political correctness and tolerance that only went one way.

We in fact, forgot.

The Shame of not sending our children to war

Friday, May 29th, 2015

Melissa Francis on Outnumbered was forced to admit she did not want to send her sons to fight Isis.

Then to admit, that made her feel ashamed.

No one asked why the shame.  Andrea Tantaros who strongly believes that we should stay out of the entire Middle East, insisted that it was a war that did not involve us.  I found it strange that this strong belief did not ask why Melissa felt shame in not wanting to send her sons to fight for something that was clearly wrong (in Andrea’s view) and for which Andrea had “rest her case”.  The answer could be found in the guilt of the world after the end of World War 2 when the true horror of Nazism was revealed.  The world had an excuse; most did not know.

We of course, have no excuse.  The average person has internet and with it, the ability to know exactly what horror those people are inflicting.  We see the  killing of children, rape of women, beheadings, burnings.  Yes, we know that if we do not stop such barbarism, they will take over the Middle East, Europe, and then come for us.  And then we will be willing to send our children to war because we have no choice.  Andrea Tantaros, I suspect also KNOWS why we fight; she knows the risk the terrorist pose on our way of life.

But beyond all pragmatism, there is this.  We as a nation have been given great power.  We ARE the world’s sole super power.  In that responsibility comes this one haunting thought: if America (as Andrea insists) shouldn’t have to take the burden of saving the world just because no one else can, does that mean America can refuse the guilt that comes from the fact that we could have stopped evil but did not?

The Jeb Bush fumble

Wednesday, May 27th, 2015

First of all, let me say I really wished Jeb did not want to run for President.  I hope Condi also doesn’t get dragged in because the Conservative media and their minions still don’t get it.  You can lie to the voters because we have all told lies; you can flip flop on issues because it shows that you can bend when need be.  What you cannot do, the unpardonable sin is to be disloyal.  It is the first lesson taught in your family, the “principle” to which your circle of friends hold, and it is the value that makes every entity strong.

When Conservatives joined their Liberal counterpart in bashing Bush and all things Republican, they looked ugly and no one wanted to be a part of them.  THAT is what lost elections–and why the tea party has no clout.  But like the Liberal elites who to counter their own refusal to fight in Vietnam and therefore made the only war America has ever fought, a bad war that we had no business fighting much less winning, Conservatives try to justify their disloyalty to the terrorist war by insisting that the Iraq war was wrong.  They will continue to bash Jeb on this issue and he cannot win unless he is willing to put them in their place.

The question posed to Jeb would have been IF we had done nothing and WMD had killed thousands in L.A. or Chicago, would have been “after 9/11, after EVERY reputable intelligence agency in the world said Iraq had WMD, when Saddam Hussein himself said he had them and wanted to destroy America, how could your brother NOT invade Iraq?”  Every honest person KNOWS that President Bush could NOT have risked NOT invading Iraq.

The answer to Kelly’s question should have been “Yes, I would have, because  I wouldn’t have risked America lives.  Because not one intelligence agency “knew” what we know now…and because 3000 Americans just died for what we did not know.”  But Jeb thought the risk was understood; that intelligent people don’t go into hypothetical questions without including the basic premise of choice: risk verses possibility. The reaction by the Conservative media to his answer sought to remove that basic premise and in so doing, tried to leave him, his brother,–and America, with the only option that the invasion of Iraq was wrong.  IF the world’s intelligence had been right, NOT going in would have been wrong, DEATHLY wrong.  THAT is the factor they sidestep.

Then there is the ”the Middle East is none of our business” crap.  In the late 30s, Hitler was killing millions of people.  The rest of the world had an excuse; the average person had no knowledge of what was going on.  We, in the 21st century, with internet cannot make the same excuses.  Just how many people have to be burnt, heads chopped off, babies killed, and girls raped before it becomes “our business”?  If America doesn’t stop this terror, who will?  Does evil have to land on our shores and kill Americans before we do something?

I’ve been told that America lacks the will to fight another war; I beg to differ.  I think America is getting sick of being seen as weak and undependable.  It is getting beyond embarrassing.

Reply to John Hawkin’s 25 examples…

Tuesday, August 7th, 2012

Since lengthy replies are encouraged on Townhall blogs instead of the comment section, here is mine to John Hawkins’ 25 Examples of What America would be like if we were all Christian Conservative Tea Partiers.

1)      …There would be fewer regulations, lower taxes, a business-friendly environment, and a much smaller government that would lead to considerably stronger economic growth and job creation. In fact, we’d probably have to dramatically increase the number of work permits we hand out to foreign workers, not because there are “jobs Americans won’t do” (which don’t actually exist), but because so many Americans would be employed that we’d have to bring in more people to do all of the available work.

R) …If I recall there were such a time when so many people were offered jobs that McDonald’s had to pay more than minimum wage for their employees. It was during GW Bush’s time—and no the CCTP were STILL demanding that we ship out Mexicans. No work permits for anyone that couldn’t prove that their parents were legal.

2)      …The richest Americans would have more money. Of course, so would the middle class and the poor. In fact, the only Americans who wouldn’t benefit economically would be the Americans who spend their lives relying on the government, instead of their own effort, to pay their bills.

R) …Yep, we’d go back to the days when poverty was shameful…and if YOU or someone in your family lost their job, then YOU or a family member would have to take from their own families’ resources to support the person in need. And by God, they better be grateful!

3)      …We’d have some form of a Balanced Budget Amendment to insure that we don’t have a deficit or a debt.

R)…All we have to do is have the people who love to spend our money agree to be held accountable. And if that time ever comes, when they take from you and yours, you will understand why you have to step up instead of relying on the government to help.

4)      …We’d have a much flatter, simpler tax code that you could fill out on a single sheet of paper.

R),,,And everyone family who claims their mortgage and their kids will love having to not deduct from their tax burden.

5)      …Welfare and food stamps would still exist, but there wouldn’t be as much need for them, it would be considered shameful to take either, and you can be sure that people would have to work for every hand-out they receive.

R) …Absolutely, they will go to Church groups and other charity organization where the people can feel superior for still being employed and having enough to donate. On the other hand, no one appreciates what they do not earn, so those who find it beneath themselves to beg, should earn their welfare and food stamps money by helping charity organization pass out food and stuff to the poor.

6)      …Social Security would be privatized and invested. That means the people who put nothing in would have nothing to take out, but the people who do pay in would have a lot more money to withdraw.

R)…And those who will be investing the Social Security funds, are these the same people who tanked the economy in 2008?

7)      …We’d still put some research money into alternative energy, but we’d also work to build a lot more nuclear power plants and we’d encourage private industry to produce more clean coal and natural gas. Oil would also be much cheaper because we’d have already drilled ANWR, the keystone pipeline would be built, and we’d be opening up federal land to environmentally responsible drilling at every opportunity. This would lead to much lower energy bills for the average American.

R)…Now this is one area that SHOULD be privatized. Companies, whose bottom line is to make a profit has every reason to see that their research money is well spent and to succeed. Government should give huge encouragement pending actual results via tax breaks. Something like 10% off corporate tax for 20k employed and another 15% for so much energy produced.

8)       …We’d have the same sort of “loser pays” legal system that’s practiced in much of the rest of the civilized world. That would dramatically reduce the number of lawsuits and the cost of legal insurance.

R)…With one exception, both parties must agree to mediation first in the case of serious injury or death. I would hate for the victim to not be compensated because they can’t find or afford a lawyer.

9)      …There would be a lot less government workers and the ones we’d have would make less on average than the taxpayers paying their salary.

R)…Unfortunately a huge number of the voting population is employed by the government and if they had to choose between their Christian Conservative Tea Party principles and feeding their family and/or their relatives…ah guess who loses?

10) …Health care would be much cheaper and more efficient because you could buy insurance across state lines; we’d have tort reform, health care savings accounts, and tax credits for health care would go to individuals instead of companies, which means that you wouldn’t lose your insurance if you lose your job.

R)…This would only work if you have a good job and can afford insurance period. Not to mention health care savings accounts and can use tax credits. Most people are using their money for things like mortgages and food.

11) …The fence would be built, the border would be secure, anyone who overstayed his VISA would be tracked down and deported, and illegal aliens who did make it into the country would be forever barred from visiting here legally or becoming citizens.

R)…Notice that fence did not have an “s”. What happen to the Northern Canadian border? Don’t we want ALL borders secure?

12) …Legal immigration would be faster, cheaper, and much more efficient. We’d also be selecting new American immigrants based on merit instead of rewarding people for breaking our laws or allowing them to come here because their son or cousin already managed to become a citizen.

R)..The problem in “selecting” is that the majority of Americans are the descendants of immigrants that were not wanted in the countries they left. Most fled poverty and had nothing to offer this nation. There’s a part of every voter that cringes when talk of being selective comes around. They know that luck-and God had so much to do with their own citizenship. Which is why the illegal immigration issue is a loser.

13) …English would be the national language.

R) …It is not only the national language; it’s the international language. Instead of regulating the language; children of non-english speaking parents should be told bluntly what children all over the world is taught, without speaking English, you will not succeed.

4) …People would look at you like you’re an idiot, as they should today, if you suggest that the Constitution is a living document. You’d also see a lot more Constitutional amendments because the Supreme Court would stick to the law as written unless it was amended.

R) Speaking of idiots…the opposite of “living” is dead. Nothing dead can be changed and guess what was changed 27 times? Yep, the Constitution.  It’s also rather ironic that the very people who insist on doing what the Founding Fathers (many which were slave owners) laid out for us expected future generations to abolish slavery via a document that was binding and was to never change.

15) …The crime rate would be so low because of the lack of criminals and the prevalence of guns that in much of the country, people wouldn’t bother to lock their doors.

R)…But the price of guns would go up as criminals buy bigger and badder guns than law abiding gun toting citizens so they can continue to steal, kill, and do drugs.

16) …The death penalty would be applied much more liberally for terrible crimes and it wouldn’t take 15 years of appeals to carry it out.

R) Now this IS something that should have loser pay. Whatever lawyer believes that a serial killer, rapist or pedophile should continue to prey on society should be wiling to pay for court costs, bail etc.

17) …All people would be welcome to practice their religious faith with no official state-run religion, just as the Founding Fathers intended. So, yes, you could have a manger in front of the town hall at Christmas and the Ten Commandments on a court house wall, and teachers in public school could teach from the Bible in class when it was appropriate.

R)…And the same for other non-Christian religions and faiths. And if a Koran defaced is punishable by death, so should be the penalty for defacing a cross, or the American flag.

18) …Not only would there be no gay marriage, we’d be taking steps to strengthen marriage — like getting rid of no-fault divorce and it would be acknowledged that a mother and a father would do a better job of raising kids than any other combination.

R) …So what does a spouse do with a cheating spouse who wants to leave for a younger model or wants to continue to sleep around and doesn’t care if he/she gives the loving spouse a disease? What does one do with an abusive spouse?  Do we really want to go back to the slug ‘um in court days? Good grief, divorce is painful enough without dragging the whole thing in court!

19) ….Children would be taught abstinence in school, having kids out of wedlock would be frowned upon, and abortion would be legal only in the case of rape, incest, or danger to the life of the mother.

R) Agreed. But why is abortion wrong? If it is because it is the killing of a baby, then why is it ok in the case of rape and incest? It IS still a baby being killed no matter how it was conceived.

20) …Kids would start out school with the Pledge of Allegiance and a daily prayer.

R) With an explanation of what and why. Kids need to know that people died for this nation and the part of all good citizens is to pledge our allegiance and to thank God, in whatever manner taught to us by our parents.

21) …We’d have school vouchers so that we could introduce competition into our school systems and allow all parents to send their kids to the same kind of schools that the rich do today. We’d also spend a lot more time teaching kids reading, writing, arithmetic, history, and economics and spend a lot less time worrying about their self-esteem.

R)…Actually, we need to have teachers be accountable…as in real life, no results, no pay.

22) …You wouldn’t have terrorists, communists, and people who hate America teaching at our universities.

R)…And they’d be no blacklist; people cannot be banned on accusation alone; they must be proof that they are teaching anti-American views.

23) …Racism would practically be non-existent, there would be no need for the NAACP, LA RAZA, or Affirmative Action and people would, “not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.”

R)…Is that why Christian Conservative Tea Partiers don’t talk about securing the White, Northern border where there are tons of Muslim communities and a nice Liberal government that doesn’t believe in the death penalty? Is that why when they talk about illegals, they mean Mexicans not boat loads who arrive from poor European countries? The Race Card is alive and well, so is the class card; it is being passed to Hispanics because the Blacks uses it to get into Ivy league schools and being promoted - and because CCTP continue to let those cards be used.

24) …We’d have safe water, safe food, clean air, and a clean environment, but we’d put an end to the years of legal challenges to new building projects and people having their land declared a “wetland” because the ground gets soggy for a few days a year.

R)…This from a group that doesn’t realize that much of the safety came from regulations and from government who wouldn’t mind their own business.

25) …There would be no public unions. Private unions would, of course, still exist, but no one would be forced to join and employers, if they so desire, would be able to fire everyone in the union and get a new work force.

R)…Agree on public unions as they do not risk the same as private unions; the employees agreed to be “public servants”. But private unions actually saved capitalism. They came about not out of the goodness of a Liberal government but because most of the civilized world was turning to communism or socialism. EVERYTHING today’s worker takes as a right was given to them by some guy who risk life and the livelihood of their families to fight for them. Do you think any company back then was willing to take from their profits to pay a worker for 2 to 4 weeks of non work a year so he could get some rest? Or pay time and a half after 40 hours? Or a worker that is ill or for a worker after years of employment, money to live on in their golden years?

Ironically, when the company was forced to share a piece of the pie with the workers, the rich got richer. Why? Because instead of only 10 people being able to afford cars, refrigerators, washing machines…thousands could afford them, so companies had to be expanded and people hired and soon there was extra money and now pleasure items had to be made and vacations created.

Communism and Socialism doesn’t work because sooner or later, those funding the have-nots go away. For a look at how Capitalism unchecked works, see Charles Dickens world or third world countries where the haves live in luxury and the have-nots are really poor.

It is a lesson of history that the poor will only remain so for so long. Eventually as they did in Russia, China, most of Europe, the poor rise up and demand relief and will follow someone who promises them food and dignity. At the time when the ability to unionize became a right, America faced a similar group of unhappy poor.

Unions became the check to the uncaring wealthy and when the latter gave some dignity to their workers, capitalism, responsible and accountable,  gave birth to the class known as “middle”. This class pays for the poor so the wealthy doesn’t have to do it alone to keep them at bay; it also buys so that the wealthy stays rich.

This article made me take a second look at the other side of the political coin. Both sides have very little understanding of the other.

As a member of the largest voting block (Independents), all I can say is THANK GOD that most Americans are neither Progressive Move on Liberals or Christian Conservative Tea Partiers.

The Race Card

Saturday, November 13th, 2010

Yes, it’s been quite awhile since I’ve added to this blog.  Let’s say I’ve had health issues and leave it at that.

I recently read a book that was on the best sellers’ list for eons in 2009 called “The Help” about maids in deep south pre-civil rights era.  Now I like to review items that I have bought on Amazon because I tend to use the buyers’ reviews in determining my own purchases and I feel that I need to contribute in kind.

I was rather surprised to find that most of the negative (1 star) reviews were Blacks because this was supposed to be a book that gave the Black point of view.  As one of the main characters note in her proposal for her book: “we already have the White prospective in Gone With The Wind” in how Whites feel about their “mammy” and she wanted people to know how the “mammy” feels about cleaning up and raising White children, only to have them treated like servants when the children become adults.

It was a story of Black maids in the deep south when segregation and racism was at its ugly worst.  It showed them as thinking, loving women who literally raised generations of White children to be “kind, smart, confident, worthwhile”.

And if it had stopped there.  If it had been another sensationalist book about the evils of racism and the White folk, it would no doubt be on Oprah and the 94 out of 2700 plus reviews would have never been negative.

But it was a story of women–and how difficult it was for a woman, White or Black, to live in a pre-women’s rights era when her one goal in life was supposed to be to get a man and please him.

And more, it did the unthinkable…it portrayed a White woman helping the Black maids…of risking HER life, her social standing, her senator’s son possible husband.

This book, interesting and captivating, even for someone like me so far away from the entire Black/White issue, reminded the reader of an unspoken truth:

Without Whites, risking it all…to march side by side…to refuse to allow slaves and inequality…there would NEVER have been a Black man in the White House…as Secretary of State…as CEO…as the top t.v. host…or the highest paid jock, movie star, musician.

This little book that despite being turned down 47 times, made it to the Best Seller’s list for months and will be a movie next year…primarily because it tells the story of courageous people at a time and place that should have sucked the hope out of everyone but instead turned out to be a small point of light.

I hope when people go see it they understand that the time has come for Blacks to retire that race card…

And Whites to stop apologizing for the past.

The Truth about Winning

Sunday, May 23rd, 2010

Notice something that both Scott Brown and Charles Djou has in common?

Neither are “true” conservatives, yet both managed to win in states that are so Blue that having a “D” in front of ones name is a requirement for winning.

Anyone who believes that a politician needs to be truly conservative in order to win does not understand democracy.

A politician has to be able to represent ALL the people, even those that they do not agree with.

Both candidates believe in Republican ideals–but and here comes the really important part: understand that they are there by the will of ALL of the people.

When Conservatives JOIN with their Liberal counterparts to tell the public how terrible the Republican party is, the Dems take over Congress and the WH–and ultimately the SCOTUS.  When they learn what they are supposed to learn in grade school, that there is a time and a place for everything…and that uniting with others is the core foundation of the UNITED States…they WIN.

And WINNING allows one to push ones principles and ideology.

Losing only affords you to preach to the wind.

How America sees the Illegal Immigration Issue - Part 2

Sunday, May 16th, 2010

Why do I believe the previous talking points are not true?

1- Most Americans consider any kind of “path to citizenship” as “amnesty”.

Most Americans HAVE broken laws; ie speeding, running red lights, parking and do not consider paying hefty fines as “amnesty”.  Sorry.

2- Most Americans consider Mexicans as a threat to “national security”.

Most Americans CAN tell the difference between Mexicans who take care of their lawns and their children with a work ethic that makes most American employers weep in gratitude and Moslems who think it’s ok to kill the infidel.

3- Most Americans want to deny citizenship to anchor babies, children born of illegals.

Most Americans cannot go beyond a second generation to find an immigrant ancestor.  While most came here at a time when Americans welcomed immigrants, the idea of denying anyone of their constitutional right of citizenship because you don’t like their parents is abhorrent.

4- Most Americans want the jobs that illegals take.

Most Americans have heard all about the $18 a hour maid or $24 a bucket of fruit that illegals are supposed to make, but very few are willing to do such back breaking work for any amount of money.

5- Most Americans consider the illegal immigration issue on a par with unemployment, terrorism, Obamacare.

Most Americans did NOT choose Illegal Immigration hawks like Santorium, Tancredo, Hayworth or even Romney when he switched sides and jumped on that wagon.  Even “conservatives” choose less illegal immigration activist like McCain.

They DID choose GWB in 2004 and the GOP in 2002 and 2004 over terrorism and will, if conservatives don’t blow it, choose against Obamacare come November.

6- Most Americans understand that this is about breaking laws and NOT about racism.

They would if the talk where of illegals in the Northern border or on our very porus ports.  As it is, they know, and the honest conservative know, it’s all about Mexicans.  They are fed up with Blacks thugs running our inner cities and being untouchable so they turn their attention to the criminal element of another race.

7- Most Americans agree with the Arizona law’s of having non-Whites prove they are not here illegally.

Most Americans are old enough to remember when a group of people had to carry papers to prove who they weren’t.  They also remember a time when a wall was being asked to be torn down.

No Difference

Friday, March 19th, 2010

For over 5 years, conservatives have been saying there is no difference between Democrats and Republicans.

Of course, during the GOP Congress and WH, we sailed right thru 2 recessions with nary a bother on the voting public, we had near zero unemployment, great tax cuts that spurred the best economy in 30 years, and no attacks for 7 years.

Obama and his congress has made the recession longer, harder, and caused double digit unemployment. They stand ready to take over a sixth of our economy and add another entitlement program. America has alienated our allies and kissed the b*tts of our enemies. And every day, some nut talks about destroying our nation and our way of life.

I never did comprehend this idea that there is no difference between the two viable parties. As an Independent, I found the difference obvious and in the last year, PAINFULLY obvious.

As we sit on the day before this difference will practically be written in neon lights, I’d like to ask conservatives to tell me the difference between:

1- Liberals who insists on criticizing America, believing that only by being “honest” about America’s faults can America stop being something to be ashamed of…and Conservatives who insists on criticizing GWB, McCain, and all GOPs, believing that only by being honest about Republicans faults can the GOP be proper conservatives?

2- Conservatives who demanded that the GOP congress and WH use reconciliation to jam down their conservative agenda and was angry and vowed vengeance on those who refused to use the nuclear option…and the Liberal congress and WH who are listening to THEIR base who are demanding the use of reconciliation and the nuclear option to jam down their liberal agenda?

3- Liberal who can’t seem to let go of GWB and what the GOP did…and conservatives who can’t seem to let go of GWB and what the GOP did?

4- Liberals who turn against Lieberman for not towing their Liberal line…and Conservatives who turn against McCain for not towing their Conservative line?

Perhaps the reason why conservatives see no difference between Democrats and Republicans is because there is no difference between themselves and Liberals. Both see an America that belongs solely to THEIR ideology.

Hijacking the “conservative” label

Tuesday, March 9th, 2010

Our local talk show host had the head of the Hawaii Republican Chapter as a guest.  The man was pretty logical and I enjoyed his enthusiasm for the party but he began with some stats and a question I wish I was able to call in and answer (I was driving at the time.)

He said that in Hawaii, by a margin of almost 2 to 1, people call themselves conservative, yet at almost the same numbers, these very people say they vote Democrat.  He concluded that “obviously, the Republican party has a disconnect.”.

I wanted to tell him that when people call themselves “conservative”, they mean…conservative in how they dress, eat, drink, play.  They do NOT mean conservative as in Libertarian pretending to be Republican.

In fact, if Republicans bothered to ask the tea party people, they’d learn that most of them don’t care about illegals getting “amnesty”…they WANT the government to spend money as in Medicare and Social Security benefits.  In fact a huge part of the reason for that huge crowd that gave Brown and company their victories is because most of them are knocking on their own retirement and does not want to see a lifetime of “taxing” be cut just when they are about to collect.  You’d find that some of them are NOT pro-life, pro-gun, or even particularly interested in gay marriages.

Many years ago, Libertarians got tired of their 3% non important, no power numbers and joined the viable party closest to their ideals.  (See Ron Paul).  In 2005, pushed by entertainers like Rush, Beck, Ingraham, and Malkim…they began to separate “conservative” from “Republican”.   Thus “conservative” came to mean Reaganism, Constitutionalist, Ron Paulism…whatever Losertarians pretending to be the base of the Republican party wanted it to mean.  It also-happily extended to anyone using the term “conservative” as in a more conservative, less flashy manner of dress or action.

Unfortunately, as the Losertarians have separated conservatism from Republicans, so too has those who answer the poll question: “Do you consider yourself a conservative or a liberal?”  Which is why, when you take the “conservative” count, it does NOT register in votes for candidates running on illegal immigration issues or no government spending or a dozen and one losertarian ideals.

The Obama Move

Friday, March 5th, 2010

The bases are loaded and everyone leaning Right are envisioning Republicans marching in to win the whole darn thing come November this year and 2012.

But while Obama may be incompetent and even stupid, those whose advise he has refused to take so far isn’t.  Come the 21st of this month, the Dems are going to get that last minute pitcher who just may deny the GOP the game, the series, the entire league.

On that date, Obama will offer the single largest racial group something that will bind them to Democrats for generations.  He plans to offer them a path to citizenship…a chance to never be sent back to their third world country and to eventually bring their families here, to the land of opportunity.

He will also remind Hispanics of the conservative vitriolic rhetoric that demanded that a Berlin type wall be put up in the south (but not the north) and that children born here be rounded up with their illegal parents and sent back to Mexico.  As a caller said to Michael Medved, it won’t matter what the Right thinks or wants…it won’t matter how right or wrong they were to only concentrate on brown-skin illegals and not the whites that subject America to a security risk on a weekend basis.  The fact is that those 10 to 20 million illegals will be given the opportunity to pay back their gratitude each and every election to the socialist Dems.

Gone will be your gun rights…the marriage definition…religious freedom…the overturn of Roe vs. Wade…and every other principle conservatives hold dear.

If you think illegals use the ERs instead of the free clinics that ask no questions, you will REALLY go ape when those illegals gets on the entitlement train.

The best counter move the Republicans can make is to IGNORE this.  I am serious.  Any objection will remind minorities how bad the GOP Mexican rhetoric was just a year ago.  The fact is that the minority Republicans cannot stop the majority Democrats from granting full citizenship to Mexican illegals and no matter how Republicans call it, they will be seen as the party that hates Hispanics.  People do not wait for explanations as to why they or their loved ones are being denied.  They will see two parties: the Dems who wants to treat Mexicans as equals and the GOP that wants to kick them out.

But of course, the conservative talk show hosts and their minions will do what they did the last time they made GWB spend his political captial on this issue: turn against any Republican that doesn’t insist on rounding up Mexican illegals and shipping them out. You will have a replay of Bush’s last 2 years with this exception.

The Dems WILL pass it, the Hispanics WILL be grateful for generations, AND conservatives will be relegated to an insignificant and crazy, Hispanic hating minority.

I believe this is Obama’s “game over”

Only refusing to allow the losertarians to continue to speak for the party of Republicans may keep Obama from saying “go home.”

A note here: I know, conservatives will be screaming that we can’t give illegals amnesty.  A reality check here, YOU, the GOP does NOT have the ability to stop this.  The best Republicans can do is REMIND seniors that Dems are taking a HALF a trillion of their medicare to fund health care for people that have broken our immigration laws.  They should throw their hands up and simply say this is what happens when Dems get the majority; they are so busy trying to be a good world citizen, they forget about the American citizen.  That the GOP would concentrate on jobs for Americans…and national security for Americans…health care for Americans and the thriving economy for Americans.

But again, Republicans are NOT running the show now.  Democrats are.
